School Production of This Year

Our production this year will be student led, we will be performing a stage play of ‘Little Women’. Based in Massachusetts in the 1900s, we will follow 4 sisters through their journey into adulthood. This is an adaptation of the popular novel by Louisa May Alcott, and we will be using Matt Buchanan’s script written based on the Louisa May Alcott’s novel, ‘Little Women’.

The students have made props, designed costumes, and helped revamp our performing arts space at the junior campus. We are excited to welcome you in to the space and hope to see you at our show in August.

Annual Sale College Production

Sale College offers two annual school productions. Both the Junior and Senior productions are collaborative, cross campus, multi-age theatre performances which provide students from Years 7 to 12 with the opportunity to work together to develop and perform large scale theatrical works.
The Junior production, for students in yr,7-9, has a focus on developing student competencies and developing confidence ad proficiency in performance. This theatre work is then performed in our college’s own performance space, the Watson Centre for the Arts.
Similarly, the Senior production is a large-scale ensemble performance. This celebration of student talent is an annual event performed at the Wellington Entertainment Centre and involves numerous students from all year levels.
Sale College is proud to offer such opportunities to our talented performing arts students – and as such offers original stage productions for our students to bring to life.
