Students in Year 7 are taught by a small number of teachers, to aid in the building of positive relationships between students and staff. This is also supported through the extensive transition program where students have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with Sale College before attending formal classes.
The curriculum is delivered, in conjunction with pastoral sessions, to give year 7 students a broad overview of all subjects offered at Sale College and to allow them to make an educated decision about future pathways.
Within the Year 7 program, students have the opportunity to participate in:
Camp to Licola Wilderness Village provided valuable opportunities for students to connect and work with peers and staff members outside of their core class. Students encouraged each other and worked as team, highlighting the Sale College value of belonging. Throughout the week, students showed resilience and moved outside of their comfort zone to participate in the challenging activities.
Congratulations to the camp award winners: Jade Joubert – Helping at the camp talent show. Liam Kerton – Demonstrating the Sale College values on camp. Janella Archer – Demonstrating the Sale College values on camp. Jasher Gardner - Demonstrating the Sale College values on camp.
