Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports across the College either individually or as part of a team.
The Senior Girls Volleyball Team recently had a great day at the Wellington Competition Round. Well done girls!
The volleyball team is made up of Skye Linsen (Captain), Isobel Dunn, Cyverg Gandia, Rhea Conda, Schae Owen, Mollie Barnes, Sarah Murdoch and Amy Ryan.
The final results are as follows:

Throughout the year, the accumulation of carnival points will lead one house to be the overall champions and take home the annual House Cup.
It is with great excitement that we announce the 2019 Sports Coordinators: Ashley Jans, Daniel Croft and Caleb Allanson. We wish you all the best in the continued growth of the Sale College Sporting Program.
Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports across the College.
A wide range of individual and team sports are catered for with students progressing from the Wellington to Gippsland level and if successful then on to the Southern Zone or State finals.
In recent years students have made State finals in swimming, cross country, athletics, hockey, soccer, basketball, tennis and badminton.
Students also have the opportunity to compete against other schools in football, netball, basketball, rugby, table tennis, clay target shooting and lawn bowls.
All students and staff at Sale College belong to one of three Houses; Grainger, McIntosh or Guthridge and compete for their own house in College Events that run throughout the year.
In the past, the Annual House Cup has been awarded to the House that has accumulated the highest number of points across each of the schoo'ls carnivals (swimming, cross country and athletics). However , now all students have the opportunity to win points for their house.
In collaboration with staff and students the following award system is implemented for Sport in 2019.
Points awarded per event and ranking - not time spent
Next level/round = more points
Points awarded for novelty events (5 points)
