Sale College Sale College presents F Scott Fitzgerald's masterpiece adapted for stage; The Great Gatsby. Set in Jazz Age New York, the play tells the tragic story of Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, and his pursuit of Daisy Buchanan, a wealthy young woman whom he loved in his youth.
The play explores the American dream gone sour. The greed and duplicity of US society in the 1920s through the eyes of the narrator, Nick Carroway. It's a story of glamour, love and betrayal depicting the lure of the rich and glamorous society of Long Island and New York – and how sometimes all that glimmers is not necessarily gold.
Produced in partnership with KCC Theatre and realised by Sale College students from years 7-12, The Great Gatsby promises to be a night of singing, dancing, extravagance and decadence. Combining dynamic acting with a live choir and brilliant dance ensemble, the talents of a large ensemble cast are on show as they breathe new life into an ageless classic.
In a little over a month from now, lockdowns permitting, this performance will be staged!
Book now to avoid disappointment!

Follow the steps below to access to the Magazine Folder on scollege:
Please name the folder before you upload it - even if there is only one photo. That way the contents can be easily recognised when staff are looking for specific photos of events/activities that occur during the year.
Not seeing the shortcut to scollege?
The scollege shortcut should be on the desktop of all staff laptops. If for some reason your laptop does not have the shortcut, ask a college technician to put it on for you. Guthridge Campus staff may also see a Gserver shortcut that has a folder in it called staff shared. DO NOT go through Gserver. The magazine folder can only be found in the staff shared folder on Scollege.
All students should download and read the policy to ensure they comply with its contents. You can read more about the new Mobile Phone Policy for Victorian Government Schools here.
All staff teaching VCE should download the the Sale College VCE Handbook. It is packed with everything you need to know regarding the rules around teaching a VCE subject.
